- By Road: Jhelum Valley in Hattian Bala is well connected by road. You can drive from Islamabad or Rawalpindi to Muzaffarabad via Murree or Kohala. Hattian Bala is a short drive from Muzaffarabad city.
- By Train: There is no railway station in Muzaffarabad. The nearest active major railway station is Rawalpindi Railway Station (RWP). It is about 130-160 km from Muzaffarabad. From Rawalpindi, you need to take a bus or taxi.
