How to Reach
- By Air: The nearest active airport is Gilgit Airport (GIL). It is in Gilgit city, about 60-70 kilometers from Rakaposhi View Point. From Gilgit, you can hire a private car or take public transport towards Hunza/Nagar.
- By Road: Rakaposhi View Point is located directly on the Karakoram Highway (N-35) in Ghulmet, Nagar. You can drive from Islamabad or Gilgit. The road from Gilgit to Hunza/Nagar is in good condition.
- By Train: There are no active railway lines that reach Gilgit-Baltistan. The nearest major active railway station is Rawalpindi Railway Station (RWP). It is about 500-600 kilometers away in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. From Rawalpindi, you would need to travel by road.
- By Public Transport: From Gilgit city, you can find local vans, NATCO buses, or shared taxis that go towards Hunza or Nagar. Ask the driver to drop you off at Rakaposhi View Point in Ghulmet.
