I am a self-made entrepreneur and tour operator from Karachi, Pakistan. Founder and Director of Marketing at Eventica Travels, Qayam Hospitality, Findyourcar.pk, and Bilal Tech — four successful businesses built with dedication, faith, and consistent hard work.

I started my professional journey in 2010 while still in college by opening Bilal Tech, a small business offering computer, printing, and communication services. After college, due to financial challenges, I couldn’t afford to join an engineering university. Instead, I enrolled in Aptech Shahrah-e-Faisal for a diploma in Software Engineering. During this time, I got an internship at a software company called Outsourcemantra, where I received a monthly stipend of just Rs. 2,000. Despite the low pay, I eagerly learned website development and also helped the company by repairing their computers.

In 2014, I completed the 3-year diploma and took admission in Preston University for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Since some courses were already covered during his diploma, I received exemptions and completed his degree in 2016. After graduation, I joined a Malaysian-based company called Deconomy, where I worked remotely to develop websites for KPJ Hospitals. I also got the opportunity to visit Malaysia for work experience but returned to Pakistan to pursue his real dream — becoming an entrepreneur.

In 2018, I launched a software house, Go Innovators, and an e-commerce platform, awamibazar.pk, while still managing my small shop. Around the same time, I and a few friends came up with the idea for Eventica Travels while sitting at a chai dhaba. Later that year, when the other ventures didn’t work out, I decided to shut everything down and focus full-time on building Eventica. I officially joined full-time in December 2019.

In March 2020, COVID-19 hit and tourism came to a stop. To survive, I took up odd jobs — I sold fruits, made deliveries, and even started a small online service called shopfromhome.pk. When tourism reopened in August 2020, I put all my energy into Eventica. Through consistent hard work and trust in Allah, the company grew rapidly.

By 2025, Eventica Travels became one of Pakistan’s top travel brands. It won the Best Tour Operator Award at the National Tourism Awards 2024 and was recognized as the Most Emerging Brand of the Year by the Brand Foundation. Eventica has served top banks, pharma companies, and corporate clients across Pakistan. Since 2022, it has also welcomed inbound tourism from international travelers. The company proudly represents Pakistan at global tourism events like ITB Berlin, Arabian Travel Market, MATTA FAIR, and PTM.

I come from a lower-middle-class Sindhi family in Karachi. My grandparents were from Khairpur and Shikarpur. In the early years, my family did not support his career because they thought traveling was just for fun and not a real job. But today, they are proud of his achievements and how far I have come.

I believe in balancing Deen and Dunya, and feels that the success of Eventica came not only from hard work, but also from the blessings of Allah and the sincere efforts of my team. My other partners, including a doctor and a chartered accountant — later left their jobs to join Eventica full-time.

I am skilled in Marketing and IT, and I love using the latest technology, traveling for business, and gaining global exposure.

I have explored over 100 local destinations across all provinces of Pakistan, including the breathtaking regions of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Each journey has given me a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty, diverse cultures, and warm hospitality of my own country. Beyond Pakistan, I’ve also had the opportunity to travel internationally to Germany, France, Switzerland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia, gaining exposure to different lifestyles, histories, and landscapes worldwide.
